Preparing for class, and Etiquette:

· Classes can be purchased in person at the studio, on-line, or over the phone.

· Arriving 10-15 minutes early will ensure that you are settled, on your mat, and ready to begin when class begins. Please arrive early if you need to register/ make payment for a class in person. Please sign in at the front desk before each class.

· All yoga classes are sequenced in such a way that there is a warming up and cooling down period. Therefore, no-one will be able to enter a class more than 10 minutes after its scheduled start time. For these same reasons we also encourage you to stay until the end of class.

· Wear comfortable clothing that allows for dynamic movement. We suggest staying away from very baggy clothes as they can get in the way as you move during class. There is one unisex restroom that can be used for changing if you’re coming from work.

· Bring your own yoga mat, or mats are available at the studio. After wiping a used mat down please return it to its storage place.

· There is space to put your shoes, coats, and belongings in the lobby before entering the studio. Please leave gum, perfumes, cell phones, and worries outside of the studio. Valuables are best left in your vehicle.

· Bring water. It is best to practice yoga on an empty stomach, but if you must eat a light snack within 2 hours of class you will benefit from choosing snacks such as nuts, a granola bar, or a piece of fruit.

· Please talk to your teacher before class about any injury or illness that might affect your practice. Our classes are vigorous and challenging, however they should never cause you pain. It will be our teacher’s pleasure to help you with alignment and find appropriate variations to help you get out of pain and heal.
